Pulled the windshield, Much Better!

my bike came with the HD quick detach windshield. i normally wear a 1/2 helmet and the wind off the top of the shield catches right underneath my 1/2 helmet, within minutes my neck is dead tired and i'm give out. i pulled the shield and its a much better ride for me. i really wanted to ride with a shield, as i like the looks of the bike with it on there. maybe i just need to play with adjustment/placement of the shield on my forks...

I have the HD detachable shield and the first time I put it on, my head was like a pinball machine. I then tilted the shield forward as much as it could go and then moved on the forks until I found the sweet spot. Once you find it, you'll know. I can cruise at 75 without any issues. I wasn't a fan of windshield until I got pegged with some crap falling out of dump trunk on 95. Around town, the shield is off. On hwy trips, it is definitely on.
