stage 1 88" 2001 FXD, sustaned 215kph for about 20 minutes regualrly cruising around between 160-180kph on the highway. not sure what thst in MPH but im sure with a good st of cams and soem tweaking i can get a bit more out of her
I don't watch the spedo when I am running fast and hard but I have hit 90+ on my SG a few times, usually just messing around. Had an EFI 240Z that I had at 140 once or twice...the front end would get a little soft and floaty past that...had my wife's 06 Cadi DTS at 130, solid as a rock and room for more...however, these Texas Bubbas don't have any sense of humor at all when it comes to driving that fast on anything, let alone a motorcycle.
And I find it hard to believe that anyone can be doing 100 mph on a SG and not realize that they are going very fast...
Hmmmm.... Guess I am just an old man... I am perfectly happy cruising at 80 with enough left to be able to decisively pass any moron that dares obstruct my view....

at about 110 I start to feel like im going too fast...but I like to keep it around 85
Ain't that the truth. One always does wonder. Though not safe or advisable lol. Did 157mph in a turbo dodge neon I had once, 150 on my old Honda 600rr. Havnt seen anywhere near those numbers in years. The dyna was cruising at 100mph on my way to reno. It was so smooth, I knew I was hauling but didn't realize it was 100mph til I looked down.
Anything less than 100mph to Reno just isn't doable...
