First, glad to hear you're coming back stateside soon...
That's sounds like a good price, dealers around here won't budge off MSRP for Dynas....If the bike is only going to be sitting till July, personally I would not worry too much about it, get the dealer to install the trickle charger that your Dad can just plug in to keep the battery topped off. Personally I would not just run the bike unless its ridden for at least 10=20 miles, you're better off just letting it sit with a decent charger or disconnect the battery.
