OK I have an 06 Wide Glide and just bought the 180 tire kit with the Dunlop.
I also purchased a new front tire but went with the Metzler 880 in the stock size 21"wheel.
I was told there shouldnt be a problem mixing the two different tire tread designs, but figured Id ask here to see if anyone knows otherwise.
Thanks for any info
thanks all for the input. i know i shouldn't have ordered it but i got eager last night with the warm weather and a few brews... i read through all the reviews on the site and i found one guy the put it under a super glide, two guys with it under a yamahahahaha warrior, and one under a "big Buell." whatever that means.. i know that i should have gone with the night dragon or the 880 since they are known to work. i guess i will see how it works and probably going to be learning yet another lesson the hard way. thanks all again for the input

P.S. ill keep posted on how it works with my successes and failures
Do yourself a big favor and send this tire back! This tire only fits a 5.00 to 6.00 inch rim. The bead won't fit the rim and the lesson you might learn may be your last one if you run this tire! I doubt an installer will install it and I hope they don't!
Call Bike Bandit and tell them you ordered the wrong tire and want to send it back for a tire that fits your rim. Get the Pirelli ND, since you need to exchange it and only the dealer sells the GT 502, it sticks like glue and looks good too. http://www.bikebandit.com/pirelli-ni...otorcycle-tire 180-60 -17
Not to hi-jack this thread but what are my options for a wider tire on my '98 Dyna Lowrider?
I would love to put a 180 on it but am also not looking to spend 1-2k either.
Since this post is 6 months old, I'm gonna to out on a limb and say it's more than likely too late to cancel the order....LOL
Good info in this post though!

I suspect your bike has a 3" wide rim and the widest tyre you can fit is 140/85x16 or possibly 150/80x16. To fit a wider tyre you will need a wheel with a wider rim and quite possibly a lot more as well.
Don't hijack this thread, which is about much later bikes. Do a search in this forum and start your own new thread if you need more info.
