Default SE Slip on question

I had the SE slipons for my 09 FXDC. I replaced the baffles with the cycle shack baffles over a year ago but now my wife is starting to complain about the noise. I told her to stay home when I go out but that didnt go over very well. Anyway, I was just looking at the original baffles and the tab in the baffle closes down the inside completely, does anyone know if this is the way it is usually? Im not sure that I didnt close it off while beating the baffle out of the muffler during the original swap out. I was going to try to close off the baffles that I have installed now and if that doesnt work I would at least have a replacement set.

I believe the stock baffles were already plugged so you probably didn't do that. You may just need to re-wrap the Cycle Shack baffles because the packing could be partially blown out.
