Default Assistance needed..

Done a couple searches on the forum but cant seem to find the answers to my questions.

My bike did not come w/ security. I looked up the part # and ordered it from Zanotti's. Will i need to now run any sort of load equalizer? What if i decide to run Alloy Arts strut rear sigs? Etc. I have read that just running LED rear sigs an equalizer wasn't need. I guess my question is does the security system affect any of this since its going to be drawing battery power?

My next question is this..

I replaced the stock 2 up seat with a Corbin Hollywood Solo. I have seen several bikes on here with what i would call fender decorations or fender trim. Doing a search of these 2 terms doesnt yield much in the way of anything. I am trying to get rid of the ugly unused mount holes from the 2 up stock seat. I do not like the looks of leather fender bibs, etc. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks again for ur time.

This is a real head scratcher!
I don't think any sort of load equalizer has any thing to do with the security module.
All I can say is...
My 08 has the security module and the Run-Turn-Stop module. I recently got two LED plug-in bulbs for the rear, they came with a load equalizer. I installed the bulbs & tried the signals with and w/o the equalizer... they worked the same so I shelved the equalizer.
The security system doesn't know what bulbs are in there and flashes the LEDs the same as the 1156's.

As for...

... You could use the stock part # 761, it's a black plastic plug with a bar & shield logo imprinted on it.

If you've seen somebody who has what you're looking for, send them a PM. You're shooting in the dark by posting and hoping somebody will notice it.

Or body filler, sanding and painting to get rid of the seat-nut holes.

While it is known as the TSSM (turn signal & security module) you will not need any thing else like equalizers for this to work. You will need to go through a install and initialization process for it.

What if i decide to run Alloy Arts strut rear sigs? Etc. I have read that just running LED rear sigs an equalizer wasn't need.
The ECM reads the current being drawn on each of the four TS. If it is not what the ECM expects, it go into 'fail' mode (flashes really fast)

I guess my question is does the security system affect any of this since its going to be drawing battery power?
No.
