I had a 103 stage four installed on a 2009 Fat Bob. I'm pulling 113.26 hp and 104.63 torque. I'm running Vance and Hines BR 2 into 1, SE Heavy Breather, tuner . I just spoke with a guy who had a 103 stage four installed on his 2008 Night Train at the same dealer. He is pulling 117hp and 124 lbs torguqe with Rhinehart 2 into 2 cross back, SE Heavy Breather. Are my numbers low, or are his unusually high?? Max torque numbers are at 4,000 RPM. It'still a hell of a lot more fun to ride than when it was stock...just curious.
Sounds like it was just bolted up and not tweaked............I know you can get 105hp/105torque out of a 96cu.in. with the right cams and head work along with a 2into1 exhaust if its tweaked.
I have seen it done and right now am waiting on my parts to arrive so I can do the same to my motor.
Dialed in to get the most out of the parts (i.e. decking the cylinders for equal piston to cylinder deck height, shaved heads for most compression, cc'd, ported and polished), instead of just out of the package and bolted on. Cams dialed in to achieve the utmost out of them. Having the AFR adjusted to produce constant power flow.
It's about blueprinting the new parts that go into giving you the utmost performance possible without overdoing it.

That's the kit that I have...with 260cam I'm pretty sure they shaved the heads...metal shavings were visible. I didn't think you had to port and polish the heads of a Screaming Eagle race kit. Guess I'll look into it. Anybody else out there have dyno numbers for a stage four 103 kit??
