Since I have two sets of stock pipes, I'm thinking of scuffing a set up and shooting them with some VHT Flame Proof flat black. I've used it on hot rod headers before with good results.

I did the same thing on my heat shields on my exhaust, paint is holding up great but the clearcoat has not held up as well just off the motor it's been 2 years that it was done gonna redo in paint this summer
Looks wicked dude, similar to what I did with my St Bob! I'd be interested in seeing a close up of the sigs and if I may be so bold as to suggest losing the reflectors...
Here's a shot of the sig...
Have yet to attack the front of the bike. The sun glare off the top of the triple tree is brutal, so that needs to be darkened somehow. And I have to fix my mirrors. All I saw was my arms, so I flipped 'em under the bars, but then they hit the tank. So I Added a couple inches of length to them, but.. they still hit the tank. Now I think I can put them up top again 'cause they're longer, but I welded them up with the heads designed to be inverted.. so I gotta cut 'em again and rotate the heads to be above the bars again. Then maybe I'll get to the reflectors.
Fixed the mirrors.. cut 'em apart and we-welded the stems so that the mirror head mount points at a 90 degree to the base, and now I can finally see behind me!
