WOW! What a spectacular and well thought out motorcycle. A light weight, nimble touring machine that doesn't require assistance of a passer by to back out of a parking space if the grounds not perfectly level....lol.

Thanks for the compliments! It definitely serves it's purpose for me. Without that storage space, I wouldn't be able to ride my scoot to work, and with the round trip to my "office" being up to 370 miles, I wasn't about to let that happen!
In additional to the functional aspects of the mods, I think it looks pretty good too. With the footboards, the simplicity and black leather/lack of fiberglass, it sort of harkens back to an earlier era.
Perki48, looks like our bikes are kind of headed in the same direction. I haven't ruled out going up to a touring bike yet since I still like having the smaller lighter frame.
Romeo, thanks for posting the pics of your bike. I am looking real hard at one of the Leather Pro trunk bags. Looks real good.

Nice looking bike! Which backrest do you have there CB1?

Thanks Romeo. The backrest is the low medallion style part# 52735-85 and the pad is low backrest pad part# 51132-98. Both from Harley. The wife loves it. The bag on the back was a windshiled bag I bolted on there.
I agree with you guys about a convertible Dyna Glide, though all I wanted really was a much better seat and saddlebags on my Fat Bob, as I'm not a windshield guy and I don't use a "tour pack" type set up often. I bought a Corbin Dual Tour and a Classic Solo, both of which when used with the backrest I can slide an Eagle Creek bag over the back of the backrest and have a nice big "tour pack" for when I'm on the road more than a few days. This has worked out really well for me.
I disagree with one statement above: if they did offer a convertible Dyna Glide, the would be sure to not price it too cheaply, it would be right up there with Soft Tails and Road Kings.

Thanks for the part numbers! Looks like I'll be sending another $140 to the MoCo via Zanotti's!
