yes sir it all comes off in under 1 min bud... for the filler strips i have a how to floating around here somewhere, just sheet steel that i cut, powder coated, rivited to the top of the bag support frames... for the lower protion i used a small 90* bracket then rivited that to the bag and the fill... the docking hardware just kicks these bags out a bit hahaha had to fill that in to keep it clean and smooooooth the trick is the door rim that you see on the sides. the qd bags tend to bounch aroudn a bit and that will protect your paint or in my case powder hahaha

Awesome man, that is some great work. I don't go on any long trips right now, use my bike mainly as a daily with the occasional weekend ride, but I am definitely subscribed to this thread for the future.
found some pics form when i made the fills for ya bud
made template
took template to metal
found my angle for the bend to flwo with the fender
top area is cut out to allow for the QD sissy bar
I hope that helps you out... super easy to make, i used really thin metal so they where easy to cut... after it was cut i did clean it all up on the belt sander to get it smooth and get the lines to be clean...
alright!!! man THIS THING SCREAMS!!!! just POUNDS/beats! I Love it!!! i put on the short sheild... took it on the Highway today for the first time, after i get past 80mph i start to get a pretty good buffering, weeevy weeeevy... so i am goin to toss on the lower wind damper and tighen up my lower steering damper to see if that will take care of the issue... very sick watching music videos as i am cruising! hahaha had to work on the balance system and adjust the power flow and distribution to the speakers from the head unit just sounds unreal! never heard a bike like it, hell some cars for that matter!
i have 2 shields i put on the shorter tinted one for now
I tapped the remote line into my tach so it works with my accessory switch / ignition switch. I have the metal fill plates cut to be coated in the blue, but the storm knocked the power out to the shop for the next 5 days!!!! so no blue for this trip hahahaha
