I was was laughing when you posted up about the original finish and all the wet sanding you were in for. First, I have seen your sanding and polishing work so I already knew it was going to come out perfect in the end, a second..... I have done so much sanding and buffing in my life I almost felt sorry for you. IT SUCKS!
Joe, as you know, I have the same fairing. One thing I would recomend, is to look into increasing your preload on your forks due to the increased weight up front. I've expirienced some pretty good wobbles at speed when changing lanes. Mostly when I hit the BOTS Dots. That being said, if you decide to machine some adjustable fork caps, I'd be interested in a pair, unless I get my Ohlin cartridges from Howard first. BTW, looks f-ing awesome!!!

thanks Jimmy i have a stearing damper and 15 w oil with progressive springs up front to prep for this addition, may also add a wind damper under the forks that i have laying around. but we will see... thanks for the heads up this sucker is heavy!!!
