Fuel injection cleaner?

Fuel injection cleaner?

Stupid question I guess. Every time I change my oil in my truck (5000 miles, give or take), I dump a can of Sea Foam and/or Lucas fuel injection cleaner in it. What's your guy's thoughts on dumping a can in your ride. Do or don't? I've only got around 2000 miles on my scoot now, but I'm riding more and more as the weather permits. Just something that was on my mind.

I dump a few ounces of Seafoam in my tank at every oil change (2500 miles). Can't really tell you if it helps anything or not, but my Dad used that stuff for years in all his cars.

It's not a stupid question,HD sells fuel stabilizer and something called winter idle boost.I don't use FI cleaner because all the name brand premium fuels already have fuel system cleaners in them.

Sea foam is good stuff. I use it in my boat at the start of every season. It might contain some etenol but I don't know for sure. I will use it once a season in my bikes but thats it.

Hey thanks guys. I may drop half a can in next time I fill up. Getting ready to hit the "Dragon" and head up the BRP in a couple of weeks. Just want to make sure my bike is ready to roll then.

Get the black colored STABIL. It's designed for ethanol applications and if you have a 10% or so added to your local gas station, it will help when you get to the few and far between riding time. Ethanol sucks.
