Front brake pads
I just got an 08 Street Bob and have put around 200 miles or so on it. I've noticed a hollow rattle coming from the front of the bike on deceleration and it also does it as the RPMs slow down after reving it. Its annoying as hell! I had someone else sit on the bike to recreate the rattling and it was comming from the caliper. Took the calpier off a few minutes ago and the brake pads slop back and forth when i wiggle them with my fingers and there is a lot of play between the brake pad "hoops" and the the top bolt that goes through the hoops on the pads. Is this normal? Is there some sort of bushing on that top bolt thats missing? Any insights would be helpful. Thanks in advance! -Shaun
