Default Power Commander V or FuelPak on a 2011 FXDC.

Just ordered my new pipes (V & H Big Shots) as well as the Screamin Eagle Heavy Breather and now need to know which computer to buy.

Is one better than the other? Only a $50 price difference so that is not a factor, I just want the best one for the bike.

I am new to upgrading a Harley so any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I have an 07 Low Rider with the Big Shots and the FuelPack. The FuelPack works well and I have no complaints with it. The bike came that way when I purchased her last August. If I was purchasing a new module, I would not purchase the FuelPack. The only reason I say this is that the FuelPack can not easily be customized for any additional mods I might do. You are pretty much stuck with the canned maps from V&H. With the PC or the Thundermax for example you can create custom maps to properly tune your motor. If I decide to go with a Big Bore Kit or Cams and Head work the FuelPack would need to be replaced. If you plan on leaving the motor stock the FuelPack will work just fine but for my money I would choose something else. One of these days when I have the money I will be doing motor work and the FuelPack will wind up in the parts bin.... Hope this helps.....

If you don't hear back from them right away, pick up the phone and call them. Their customer service over the phone is excellent, and their prices are very good.

I'm very glad to have gone with the PC-V from Fuel Moto. It took me about 20 minutes to install the unit, which was already mapped for my bike by Fuel Moto.

I'm running open-loop right now (o2 sensor eliminators plugged in), but I have the Auto-Tune kit ready to install. It's just gonna be a matter of removing the head-pipes so I can install the new o2 sensors, then the rest of the job should be a breeze.

The bike runs great in open-loop, though. I think the Auto Tune kit will be "the icing on the cake" for this kit.
