Been thinking about thinking about getting a small/medium size bag for my bike. I like the looks of the bags made by badgcustoms.com My question what kind of room do you have to carry ****? The website talks about how many cans they hold etc.. I need a bag to carry a jacket and stuff like that. I'd also like a place to stash my helmet (3/4 lid) when I'm parked. If anyone has any pictures when the bags loaded that would be cool to see. All the pics I find online are empty bags.

Thanks!
I have the smallest version from badgcustom. Carries small things up to maybe a raincoat. I basically wanted it to hold my phone, papers, gloves, etc. I dont think any of the solo bags would hold a 3/4 helmet. Might as well buy the normal pair as I think the solo bags look odd when they get to the full size version.
I have the large badgcustom solo bag. You might be able to fit a leather jacket if you really stuff it in there, my hi-vis rain gear fits with a little room for gloves, haven't tried but I don't think my 3/4 helmet will fit. But it does fit a few subway subs and a few cans of beer.
Mine is 1 inch wider than stock and I can get 1 spare pair of jeans, 2 shirts, 2 pair of socks, 2 changes of shorts, sunscreen, and a few misc items I carry. I bungee my jacket to the rear fender and if I need a little more storage I add a fork bag. It isnt a touring setup but it works for weekend trips or emergency beer runs.

Found that kind of funny since I just put a couple of Subway Subs in mine yesterday.
Main reason I bought it was for my every day storage of goggles, gloves, registration, a windbreaker/rain jacket, wallet, cell phone, garage door opener, etc. It's nice for the occasional run to pick up some small items too...like dinner. In the summer I can take my bike places now that I wanna go for a swim as well...just toss a towel in there, some shorts, and such and you're good to go.
i've been waiting for a post like this...i want to buy one of these bags as well, but not for something crazy like a 3/4 helmet....i was more curious if they would hold things like chaps, leather jacket, and rain gear (not all at the same time) i typically just bungee my jacket to the bars and ride if it gets too warm...
i have one of the round t-bag bags that I strap to my handle bars...looks ok, but i would much rather have one of those solo bags that just strap up to the rear...
I carry a cable style gun lock and lock my helmet to my bike when parked. Works great.
I also have an exhaust side solo bag for sale and am located in denver. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/dyna-...-bag-75-a.html
There is a guy who seems very interested but didnt paypal yet...
This is the one I have of theirs and I got it 1" wider too. Today I put a 12 pack of soda in it with the top of the 12 pack just sticking out of the top in the front of the bag.
I can easily put my hoodie in there with more than enough room to spare. If I did it nice and neat instead of just stuffing it in there, I'd probably get a little more room out of it. I'd say my chaps OR my hoodie would fit but both would be a squeeze. It's very handy though I think it would hold enough for a weekend trip no problem. It's the shape of the bag that is actually more limiting than it's size but still a very nice bag.
