Default Jack Questions.

Can I use this jack? It was donated by a super nice guy. But I'm questioning if it can work with my Dyna. I know about the dyna lift adapters from HD and I know how many people on here say they are junk. Is connected area in front of the lift platforms going to keep this jack from being usable?

I use one similar on my 2001 dyna wide glide. I have the adapters, and you have to be careful with them because they do kind of suck, but it does work. I just make sure the bike is tied down after I lift it.

Got any good pics of it up on the jack with the adapters?

You might be able to make it work by rolling the bike up on some 2x4s and then placing 2x4s on the jack platforms. That will help with getting the connected area under the bike.

It will work fine. The only issue you may have is getting it under the bike but as stated, just drive the bike up on a 2x4 and that should do it. Depending on how low your bike is you may only need the 2x4 under one or both tires.

I agree that it looks too narrow without some type of adapter to give it more stability. Even with adapters, I would use tie downs with this jack.
