Honestly I don't use them as much as I thought I would but on a long stretch of super slab with the wind in your face your legs get a little tired of fighting the push... so the mid pegs have come in handy for that purpose so I will leave them on. They never get in the way as far as I know, I've never had issue with them.
Cool. I have boards on mine, now, but also have the mounts for mid pegs. I plan to install them once I get the bolts from the hardware store. The boards are comfortable, but one more option couldn't hurt. Plus, my lady might be able to use them when she wants to put her feet somewhere different. She has long legs.

You can always have you lady wrap them long legs around you during the trip, keep things interesting:-)
(And to think I was considering getting a new bike... uhhh NO! I have put a lot into this bike, all the exterior work and a really kick butt motor to boot!)[/quote]
Wow, i love that front wheel. Could you be so kind and tell my, where or how you find/make that wheel. Street Bob hub? Is it fits straight in your Bob without any modification? What´s price range? Do you change anything in back? Is it possible in my wifes 2011 Street Bob? Newbie has lots of stupid question´s, sorry about that.
