Default Ricor Owners - Question

In know I know, this has been discussed, but only with Progressives that I can find.

If I get these:

http://store.ricorshocks.com/Product...20%2D10%2D2004

In an 11" and set the tune for cruiser and list me + wife weight plus another 40lbs or so for gear:

Will this still be a good improvement over stock, or am I fooling myself? FYI, I am 225lbs, wife is 120lbs.

I really want to sit a little lower.

And that would be with any brand shock.

11 inch shocks (any brand) are two short for comfortable two up touring. I also run 13's for long haul rides.

I had 11" 412HD progressives and they were just to stiff. Brian recommended I go with 12" Ricors, couldnt be happier. Really dont notice that much of a difference in height as they are on an angle, and you can screw them down to make it shorter for 1 up. I am 200lbs, and ride rough roads of the Philippines.

As mentioned, talk to Brian. 11" shocks won't leave enough travel for tracking or comfort. I'm running the same set-up he is for his Dyna, 13.5" sport tuned. I can loosen the preload for a lower ride, but I prefer using all they have to offer.

Thanks guys. I have already done 13k and some 500 mile 2up rides with the wife okay. I'll stick with the 12s and call Brian when I'm ready.

Thanks again.
