Cherry poppin good time!
6 days, 2500 miles, 4 states. Neither I or my WG have ever made a trip more than 300miles until last week. Packed her up and rode from KCMO to Wichita, KS. Then OKC, Amarillo TX. Alamogordo, NM, El Paso, TX, Las Cruces, NM, Roswell, and back home.
We visited the Holloman AFB, White Sands, Petrogliphs, Space museum, missile test site,Sunspot, Cloudcroft, Sacramento Peak, Barnett in El Paso and Las Cruces. Visited many small towns along the way. Even went thru Border Patrol. Rode thru the mountains many times, thru the forest fires, sand storms, wind storms, dust storms, but no rain.
I met many amazing people along our way. Lots of great new friends. Good stories. Great times.
By far, the best road trip I've ever had!
Took over 400 pics, I'll try to get them up, or at least a link to Photobucket. *finally have a link posted on pg. 2*

Lots of people thought I was crazy riding that far with apes, and no shield on a dyna. I wore a full face for the long runs which made all the difference. I took my lid for all the sight seeing. I couldn't ask for a better trip. Maybe just a longer one.

Kansas was most expensive. 4.07 highest, OK, TX, NM, MO all between $3.67-3.89. Gotta places I couldn't find my 91... 90 was "ultimate"...
