Dont buy one, about $500 and it stops your top end from oiling, I caught it early and all I had to replace were the cam chain adjusters, lifters, cams, (I was wanting to put in cams anyway but I didnt expect them to be worn).

Hey tha nks for the heads up but can you be more specific and explain what happened how you know it was the oil cooler etc etc.. Thanks
I noticed noise in my top end, mechanic thought it was related to the items I replaced, but after replacing noise was still there (Parts were worn, including cams). I had inspected the chain tensioner's 10,000 miles ago when I added the filter, they looked like new, they were inspected at my request while I had the pipes off wrapping them.
Trying to discover what was wrong after replacing parts we pulled the top off and found that there was no oiling on the top end, mech said lets pull that fancy filter and see what happens, I said ok, pulled the filter and it immediately started oiling. Filter was maintained as directed by Fueling.
Bike is running great with the 204 cams, I wanted to do that mod anyway, just glad I didn't do any more damage than I did.
It was proof nuff for me.
Have you sent a letter to the manufacturer? If this part failed I'm sure they would make good on the part, especially if it were a manufacturing problem.

That's a pretty blanket statement. I'm sure there was something more specific to your bike going on since a lot of people run oil coolers just fine. If you know what specifically caused your issue or if it's a specific cooler let us know.
