Hey folks,
Riding an '09 FXDC. I have the detachable bags and sissy bar so I installed an HD turn signal relo kit with the lay back for the plate, part # 60215-06. When I installed it, it seems I stripped the threads on the right side and could only tighten the housing down so much. Well I guess it was enough to last over a year but the vibrations finally got to it. I went for a ride the other day and when I got back the right signal was pointing down wards.
I'm not sure what I need to replace as far as the current kit I have. I'm wondering if yous guys have used any other kits that will be the same, keeping the turn signals near the tail light with the lay back plate. Is there a better manufacturer to go with so I don't have this problem again?
Thanks.
Ray
Not sure what you need. Is it the tube (about 3/8" dia X 12") or the turn signal housing that you need? If it's the housing that you need, I have one for you. Can send it to you for $10 to cover the cost of shipping and handling. The tube on my setup broke off at the threads when someone (not saying who) dropped a can of paint on it.
Yeah Bugger, That'd be great. It is the female threads on the housing that are bad. I'll take it. You use Paypal? Or I can just sent a check and when it clears ship it. Hell for $10 I'll just send cash...lol
Let me know. Thanks...
