I've never heard that before, but that's the same "they" that have some derogatory name for every state, country, race, religion, etc. "They" say a lot of stupid things, you shouldn't listen to "them".

I live in florida and live in the springhill / brooksville area geat riding alot of nice open / back roads .. although it does get very hot and rainy season kinda screws up riding still a good place

NEONNIGHT34609...Yup...There's good riding in your area.. I go up there.. actually go through there often.. Was up in Weeki Wachee last month... I have more in-laws in Invernest...
so I do alot of riding up in your area.

Florida's been called alot things... But, haven't heard that one..LOL It does make ya wonder why Georgia is called the, "Deep South", last time I looked we just a tad more south...
I have had some, Good Ole Boys.. say Florida isn't part of the south because of the influx of Yankees down here... It's all in fun.. Never had a problem...

Gee, lots of comments about Florida riding, not one mention of love bugs? Ever wanted a polka dotted bike? Come to Florida in late spring or early fall.

Heartpumper................ We forgot.. About them suckers.... I came out of a rest stop going up to Ocala... and I swear to God.. there was a cloud of them... Stuck everywhere alot in my cylinder fins.... Getting them off isn't easy.... I sprayed my windsheild and tins with polish and let it sit over night.. still a pain to get off... Yup... we got them big time......

Oh ya.. Actually got one up my nose...LOL I wore my doorag on the way home... got a few thumbs up... What a pain...
