Advice -

Its been a while since I've tinkered with a bike. Have an 06 Superglide.

Tomorrow is my day to do my modifications on my bike.
Putting on V&H Big shots, K&N intake and TFI. Any advice, hints that make it easier??

Other question. Can I use the same dog bone from stock exhaust to put on V&H? Got them used, but didn't get the dog bone. *may not be able to do that mod - have tried to call V&H several times to order one, but they haven't answered the phone....grrrrrrrr

I put on Vance & Hine Straightshot Slip-ons and used the same dogbone that was on the stock mufflers. That is what the directions from Vance&Hines tells you to use.

With the Big Shots, probably not. The set I had on my '04 came with a totally separate mounting bracket and the Sideshots that I have on now did also.

Was able to get a couple of numbers from anubisss. The first one I called had the part. A whopping $5.00!

Ok, running late with getting stuff on before the Galveston rally - had them 2 day expressed for 4 x's the cost of the part.. LOL

hleach52 - you put slip on's on... I am putting the whole exhaust on. Probably why you used the same dog bone.
