A local dealer has three FXDX's in stock. One is a 2003 with 12k miles. $12,995. Another is a 2005 with 18k miles, $12,995. The third is a sick black 2005 with 8k miles. $14,495.
I tried to buy the expensive one, but they wouldn't budge off their price by more than $500. I'm now looking for a Street Bob, cause I see how ridiculous of a thought it is to spend $14k on a six year old Dyna. Nice bike, but sorely overpriced.
I guess we have "the show" to thank for that.

got'em to the shop yesterday night after 600+miles non-stop ride back from seller
. I went in today and did minor services..... and left it on the dyno. i will dyno tune the bike tomorrow to see where I'm at and will take try to take some pic. for you guys as well...I'm looking into changing bars as soon as i can. either 6" riser or mini-apes
.functionally, it will be about the same but it will look a lot different.
with rise, i think it will look better but i might have problem getting to wind shield adj. ****. with mini-apes, I'll have fully functional adj **** access but i don't know how it will look like... i need some opinions or pictures.
new to do few other thing after dyno but I'll leave my engine as is for now but i don't know for how long..i guess I'll find that out tomorrow..
let you guys know.... prompt feed back on bar opinion will be greatly appreciated..
I'll need around town seat as well...will most likely get Le Pera Daytona sport basket weave. i like the look of it. anyone tried this seat?

I hesitate to recommend anything in seats and handlebars because there what comfortable for one, may be miserable for another ... The only Le Pera i ever owned was Bare Bones and had to look sometimes to see if there was any leather between me and the frame .. It didn't last long ..

Great numbers! The original T-Sport bags didn't come with the bike? The front forks are awesome once you get them tuned with springs and fresh oil. The rear shocks are great to sell on eBay (they get $250-$350 all day) and upgrade to something serviceable in the future. I use Ikon 7614's. I use risers now but mini-apes do look nice (maybe when I get older). True-Trak or Sputhe Posi-Trak is a great addition, especially with that HP&TQ you're pushing. You're in a for a lot of good times my friend.

No Soft bags... too bad, wish owner kept them but oh well..
i think risers whould look better with bit more cable and wire extension wrok...
