The Dyna 49mm Showa forks share a lot with the v-rod. My 06 superglide has the same rotor as the v-rod streetrod so I am upgrading my bike to the left side Brembo caliper. I will post pics as soon as my new brake line comes in. On ebay you will find v-rod lowers for sale as the owners upgrade their bikes to chrome lowers. Buy these and you will have a right side lower with caliper mount...then you guys with wire wheels can add rotor and caliper to get duel brakes. Unfortunately Superglide cast wheels are not set up for left side rotor.......

have you had any luck finding the right 21" wheel? i am interested in the same project for my 06 WG. what kids of Fork lower woudl you use

This will be a great project! There's always more room for better braking. I think all HDs should come with dual braking up front.
