Does anyone know the difference in diameter between a Metzler 170/60/17 and the Dunlop gt502 180/60/17 ? I would like to know if changing to Metzlers on my 10 WG is going to screw up the speedo.

By the size alone it would make me think you will be traveling faster than your speedo sais. It's marked as a bigger tire. Not that your speedo is accurate anyway. Hey it might make it more accurate if its reading high right now. Splitting hairs man.

 

It not going to be that much to worry about . In lay's terms, this tire's height is 60 percent of its width. 170 or 180 millimeters would be its width . thats only 6 millimeters

 

Thats what I was hoping, I got them on today and the rear looks smaller. I realize its narrower but it didn't look as tall. It rode better on my way home. I went with the 90/90-21 up front so that looked and felt different (front a little higher). All in all I like them so far.
