I need a little help. I was looking to put some 16" carlini apes on my 07 softail springer cvo. The bars are $275 for blems, and let me get this right...the cables run about $300 as well? I guess I just didn't know how much throwing on some new apes would cost me. If anyone knows of any discounts, or work arounds, please let me know. I want to go with apes and I have to make every dollar count.
My bars are the stock ones, and I also want to confirm that the springer is a 1.25" handlebar. I have the damn softail manual, and the Eagle supplement, but not the damn parts # book.
Thanks in advance. FYI I have rode with apes before, my pops bike has 18's and those are ok, but a little too tall for my liking.
