My last bike didn't have a windshield and I was like you. I toughed it out and told everyone that windshields are for sissies.
When I bought my 09 Street Bob, it came with a windshield. I was going to ride the bike home and throw the windshield in the garage. By the time I got home from the dealer (about 30 miles mostly highway), I was convinced. I am not taking this windshield off for anything. It is a Memphis Shades, so it looks as cool as a windshield can look I guess, but I don't ride without one anymore.

Yep, the same Memphis Shades that I have. I've gotten many comments that it's the best looking shield they have ever seen on a Dyna. As someone told me once about mine "It looks like it belongs there." It fits the lines of the front-end much better than the HD shields.
