We had to cut out for the shocks . I had a body shop rebuild the bags once i cut out everything i needed to to make them fit. I paid $400 to get the bags repaired and painted .
You can use any bagger bags for the softail version.
Drew
That's one of the best answers I have seen in my whole life . Seriously dude you come up with that answer in a dyna thread. Thanks for helping the OP on his question.
I hate to answer a question with questions but where are "their" bags I didn't see any bags for sale on their website. Also Was the price for a set or just one mount?
The whole setup is pricey, but it is clean and "plug n play" so to speak. Oh, the Bags from cyclevisions dont have the lids, so theres probably another 200-300 to buy lids and get them painted if they arent already black....
so 400 for the Baggertail bracket setup, 800 for the bags 200 for lids = 1400 ish.... not to mention circa 300 in shipping costs to get them to europe, so for me its the best part of 2K...
2K, a decent deposit on an FLD... now there's a thought....
That website is horrid. I think it would be impossible to give any less information on the products they sell.
But yeah you would be shelling out $1200 for both sides and the brackets. But I cannot answer your question.
How much do the HD bags run you?
Over here, a set of rigid leather bags plus mounting hardware etc will run close to 1100 in USD anyway, so the Hard bag option from cycle visions isnt that much more of a stretch. Its the shipping cost to here that is the killer.
despite a lot of searching there isnt anything that comes close to the CV product in europe that i can find.

was this an easy job? from what i can see on the site the shock cut out is minimal. This could be a big $$$ saver for me as i can get a second hand set of hard bags in good condition for a couple hundred bucks. Was it just for the shocks that you had to mod for, or was there additional cutting and slicing needed?
