Here is my dyno sheet. I was a bit disappointed in the torque number. 100.25 hp and 103.73 ft/tq. Shouldn't it be higher than this? Let me know what you guys think about the power and curve. I'm running the SE 103" Stage III with a port and polish. The bike runs great, just thought it would dyno a bit higher.
I'm running the Vance and Hines Competition Series 2-1. That's why I'm a bit confused on the power loss due to the pipe. It's a shorter 2-1 but still should be be better than a 2-2.
2-1 can be better up top and 2-2 can be better low down...its behaving as if its lacking back pressure or is way off the mark but your a/f ratio is spot on.
What baffles are ya running? and was the tuner going for max numbers or a flat torque curve?...sometimes you have to compromise which is why I only use our local H-D dealer for dyno work because they share my obsession with flat torque curves rather than ultimate numbers...a mate with an XR1200X went to a dyno that mainly does jappers and got impressive numbers but a ***** torque curve...he is booked in with the H-D dyno now....
I'm just running the baffle that comes with the V&H pipe. No PCV, I'm running a SERT since it came it with the Stage III kit. And to be honest I don't know what the tuner was going for. The lower numbers represent the canned tune they put on while I broke it in so the ratio seems close to the same. I was just thinking I should be closer to the 110 ft/lb number and maybe a few more horses.
The 103" rips. I never rode it stock but compared to my 88" stock it's way faster. For the money I'm happy with the way it runs. I ride the living hell out of this bike and not just in a straight line so my tore up pipe and pegs at 1,500 miles definitely show it. I'm rarely below 3K RPM unless I'm cruising at 65 and this setup runs strong in the 3,000-5,500 RPM range. That being said, I wouldn't mind a bit more. However, I think a 130hp/135tq monster would be more power than would be streetable for how I ride.
