Street bob Ignition switch relocation help!!!!
For all of those who have done this mod, I need your help!!!!
Im trying to relocate my ignition switch in my 07 street bob from the neck to the dash. No problem getting the dash out and the rubber grommet on the neck as well as the plastic cover under the frame to access the wiring on the existing switch.
However.................. how in the world do you get to the plug to disconect it from the switch?
My paws are too big for that and even though I've loosen up the switch from the frame it by turning the keeper ring it will not completely come out so I still cant get to the plug ears so I can disconect it.
Any tips? ideas?

I actually used a pick through the small hole in the frame where the down tubes meet and unclipped top side of the connector while pulling on the connector and then was able to grasp the connector and push the bottom clip with my thumb and remove it.
It should come down and out with the retaining ring removed though?
