Glad you were not hurt any worse. Take care and get back in the wind when time permits. I get pissed when I hear about any biker getting taken out by a cager. Hope everything turns out good for you.

So glad your healing and seem to still have all of your limbs, able to fully ambulate, and mental acuity is intact. I think anyone that runs over (etc.) a biker should be charged with attempted murder/homicide and be punished to the full extent of the law. Unfortunately, most people that run us over are never charged and usually get off scott free. Meanwhile we are lucky if we are left breathing. It is a felony now to run from the police, it should be a felony to run over a biker. Where are the laws that protect us?

Glad to hear you made it through all of our worst nightmare. Thanks for this post. I've been getting too relaxed on not wearing all of my gear. Back when i was riding sportbikes i would have never even thought about riding without my protective jacket, gloves, and full-face helmet. Today i rode with nothing but my half helmet. I was starting to think as long as you take it easy and not do anything stupid I'd be alright. Like you well know all it takes is for one idiot to not pay attention for a split second. Thanks for the wake up call. Good luck on the new bike.
