Default Wow, Air shocks!
Well I jumped into the air shock mod, I believe the whole thing took less than half an hour. The ride is AMAZING. Since I was fooling around I did a layback with the license plate, relocated the rear signals (hidden between the fender and saddle bags) and flipped one of my mirrors. Thanks to everyone that did these mods before me so that I was able to do them my self. Next week I may put lowering blocks to get back to the standard height before the 13" air shocks.

I'd bet that the lowering blocks wont work with your Bags..
But you'll have to try to be sure..

i hate you. i put air shocks on today and they are terrible. i have to figure out whats wrong with them.

Depends on which shocks you have. Pre '09 or '09 and later, 12" and 13". They all have different dampening rates. I find that the older 13" ride smoother, and the newer 13" have a more controlled but firm ride. Same for the 12", but I think the pre '09 12" just plain suck.

JMO from my experience with baggers...

Gonna put the 13" 2009 shocks on my FXDB next weekend...

no the one that's locked up can't be fixed, so I'm looking for a set of the 09's online
