I think you have one of the badest bobs, i wouldnt alter the black/chrome ratio. Funny just this weekend I was eyeing the satin silver fat boy low rocker boxes.
Yes I thinks its chrome thats overdone, it easier to pick-up the HD catalog and bolt it on. Rather then having a pro poweder your parts and have your bike down for days-weeks.
Man, so many bikes look like garbage trucks all blacked out, but yours isn't one of them. I'm a total chrome ***** myself and even I wouldn't change that bike. Its a rare bike that looks fantastic dark.
Alright guys, I think you convinced me. I went back and looked at some other pics of it to remind me that I like it the way it is. I need to stop over thinking it before I drop some money on a dumb idea. As always, great advice here on HDF.
I would have to agree . Your bike looks great the way it is. Don't change a thing. This is the way a blacked out bike is supposed to look.
In my opinion (doesn't mean much my dyna is stock LOL) either black them out totally or go chrome and black. I like bikes either all the way blacked out or some with powder coat or scotch briteing. Im not much of a chrome fan . I have just seen way way too many chrome barges over the years. Just not me. My best riding buddy loves chrome. To him a bike isnt right unless its chromed out and blacked too. So different strokes and all that . Do what makes YOU happy .. that said .. still think you have done this bike right. I even like your choice of harley emblems on the tank.
