I am thinking about getting the 18in Arlen Ness apehangers and running the cables internally since they are already drilled for it. My question is what cables do I need to get and how long. I already have the turn signal relocation kit. I didn't remember if I only need to replace the brake cable, the throttle cables and the clutch cables. Please let me know if i'm missing something. Thanks
I put 16 inch nash gimp hangers on mine and i went with +6 on everything. I think they are a bit long, +5 would have made a perfect fit for me. You will probably need +7 to +8, and yes you will need to replace brake clutch and both throttle cables.
There's more pics in the show us your softail standard thread. They ride great and there's no flex whatsoever as the risers are internal.
I'm 6'4" though and have long arms so I can ride with them easily!!!
There's no issues either with handling. I'd say they took me about 2 minutes to get used to after a set of really low and wide beach bars on my RK Custom.
As for the cables - they were dealer fitted, so I can't give you that info - sorry!
