Did you powdercoat or paint the shocks?Or did you buy them like that and if so where?Looks great
They are available in black. Unfortunately, I got these in January and I don't remember where I ordered them. I *think* the part # is 412-4037B. You should verify that, but maybe googling the part number will find you a seller.
It's about time somebody follows through with what people have been talking about doing. Congratulations! You've started a new trend, everyone is going to be puting springers on their bobs now. [:@]
You have my vote for BOTM.
How 'bout an update? Have you had any problems or regrets? I am now actively seeking an HD springer front that won't break the bank. When I do find one, can I holla at ya for tips and parts questions??? Thanks, bro.

I'm super happy with it. It's a real eye-catcher, it gets a LOT more stares than before. The bike rides great and I'm just working on finishing touches. I'm working on getting my front fender painted. I need to figure out something clever for mounting my tach. And I need to try to reduce the bounce of that headlight. The bucket bolts to the bracket and that part seems awful flimsy. It looks like I have a headlight modulator on there, but the only time I really hate it is when I am group riding. I don't want to distract someone ahead of me.
I had to hack and grind on the springer quite a bit. Just think it through carefully from start to finish to make sure you're comfortable with it all BEFORE spending any money and you'll be alright. Good luck and contact me whenever, I'd love to help out if I can. Good luck with the not breaking the bank part though ;-)
