good luck..hope it works out. And don't worry about milage..I bought my fatbob brand new and have almost 15000 miles on it now and it still looks and feels like new..went from a nightster to the dyna you won't regret it
Well, now I think I am going to be really bummed if this deal doesn't go through. I am kind of excited about it. Also, I have to carry a ton of books and stuff to school with me and when I ride home for the weekends, I (being a female) pack a lot of crap, so I am going to need a sissy bar and rack so that I can use my big T-bag. Is that going to work with that solo seat? I wonder if I could just take the rack and sissy bar off the sporty and use it because the sporty has a fat back tire too. Hmmm...
You might be able to reuse the sissy bar upright and rack; but the side plates are likely non-compatible with the Dyna.
Hi Mistress. Did you get the Dyna? In response to your below concern...unfortunately the sidth of the rear fender on both bikes are not compatible. You will need a new rack, sissybar, and sideplates for the dyna. But you do have options. J&P and other online places, along with the 20% discounter HD dealerships like Zanotti's offer these parts cheaper than the stealership. Or if you like, with that solo seat, you can throw on the detatchable solo rack. I have one for that year I can sell if you want to PM me. Or even a set of throwover bags with the supports would work. You can do a combination of any of these you like as well. Let us know what you are thinking and I'm sure you will get plenty of suggestions. Best of luck!

How did it go? Did you wind up with the dyna? Hope it all worked out for you the dyna is a great bike and the one you were looking at is very nice . Let us know!!
Wow, sorry it has taken so long to reply. School was really hard this quarter and I didn't have any time for anything but anatomy and physiology... Kinesiology... Ugh. But I'm off for a week now. I didn't get the bike because of financial reasons. I just couldn't take on more debt at this point. I was bummed, but my sporty isnt so bad. Im still on two wheels, and really that is what matters right? Thank you all for your responses. It was very much appreciated. And in march when I graduate and get that great job I will be all set to get that Switchback that I have been dreaming about.
Jump on it before anyone else picks it up, Other then the color of it, its a great deal plus you'ld be upgrading from a 54ci-5spd to a
96ci-6spd well built machine, I dont see the need to ask for an opinion on this one
