I just put brand new Metzler tires on my 10 WG. Went to Gettysburg bike week and had a great time. While on the way back I had a flat rear tire. Picked up a nail and now in Washington ,PA and in need of a shop to either get a new tube or a new metzler tire. Does anyone around here know of any shops?
Sorry to hear that, good luck finding a shop close by. FYI put some ride-on sealant in the tires, next time you hit a nail, you can still ride home for the fix. http://www.ride-onshop.com/
Was out with some one that put fix a flat in to get ther bike home had to stop once to put a 2nd can in,was 3 hours from home he has a tube in his tire.
New tube or tire? Neither. 30 minute problem. Go to walmart and get a plug kit. Plug it your self. Ride the tire that way till its bald. I've been well over 150mph with a plug then rode it till it was bald after about 20 burn outs. Come on.

Just to give an update here. I took the bike to Steel City Harley Davidson in Washington and they replaced the tube. They made time for me and were reasonably priced. They had me on the road by 11am monday. I rode home with no oither issue.
Overall the weekend was good. I left thursday from Wellsville, NY and rode to Gettysbug, PA for the bike rally. Spent friday and saturday riding around Gettysburg area and hanging out at the rally. Sunday rode from Gettysburg to Washington where the flat occurred. Monday back to NY state. Put on almost 1k miles with no windshield and 14" apes and loved every minute.
Next time I travel I am doing things different. For one both bikes will have ride on in the tires and both will have the co2 inflators on board. The Low Rider will have a tire repair kit as well. I have already purchased this stuff and am eagerly awaiting the big brown truck.
