Does anyone in the Dallas area know of a cheap place to get a new tire? I'm not going to go with a duncrap again, but any suggestions of places or tires would be appreciated. And I don't want a really cheap tire, just a place to get one that's not going to be the price of the dealership and is going to be a good tire.
I sell tires but I heard the stealers have the best prices.
Dallas,
There is no way a stealer is the cheapest. In fact, they are the most expensive I have found. I just bought a new back tire. I called all the dealers, they all were $159 for a back tire. I got the same tire online for $107.
Yeah, I need a back tire. Mine has a nail in it and is getting worn down, though it has some miles left. I might as well replace it I guess. Or maybe I should put some of that slime stuff or something in there in case the nail comes out and then I can get some more use out of it. I dunno. Wbogley, what tire did you get?

Yeah, kinda reminds me of the time I broke my leg and my ankle was barely held on by skin and flesh. I figured, might as well go to the doctor I guess.

hahahaha!! sounds like just a little flesh wound, no need to go to a doctor for that.
The cheapest rear tire I could find was Pirelli 66 Route (I guessRoute 66 was already taken) for$95.99. 150/80H-16. You might get lucky andfind one in stock. If not they have to order it. However, the pic online showed white lettering on the tire. I don'tthink you want that. Other than that (cheap), stock Dunlop 401 150/80B-16 for $124.99. They might have to order that, too.
I think your best bet might be to order online, but it's up to you. Good luck, and I wouldn't wait too long to repair it.
