Looking for a little info here. Who has put running lights on their Dyna? Could you tell me the approximate cost to buy them and have them installed? Pics would be great too.
I just happen to believe that the more lights you've got on the front of the bike, the easier it is for the cagers to see you coming.
I did something a little different. I added running lamps under my foot-pegs. I just made couple of L-brackets and run the wires. I used a switch from the multi-switch for the odometer..
Hey kilo do those help much with nighttime visibility and do you have any closer pics, not necessarily of the mounting, but curious to see how they look on the bike. Thanks in advance.
They do help alot illuminating the road directly in front of me. My friends that ride with me say they can pick me out of a crowd a couple of miles away so I have to say they really do increase the awareness of those around me.
I don't have any pics close up readily available, but when they are turned off, they're barely noticed. I have to think that unless you're looking for them, you wont really notice they are there.
From the riders perspective, I like the way they light up the chrome on the front wheel. Sure makes me realize when I need to shine up a bit.
FYI, the halogen bulbs you can get from Home Depot cheaper than the dealer who had to order them..
