Default Supertrapp SuperMesg - what do you think?

Anyone have Supertrapp Supermegs on their Dyna? How do you like the looks/sound/performance?

Thanks!

Running one on my FXD. Like it overall, Tunable for torque or high end by adjusting the discs in it, that can also adjust the volume-remove discs to lower the sound if the end has a cap. The only part and that is just me but I am not a big fan of the looks of a 2-1 on a Dyna, but thats just me, call me a traditionalist. Just some info Supertrapp manufactures the Screaming Eagle pipes for dressers so I guess you could say they are MoCo approved if that means anything.

Default Performance, sound at accel and looks

In that order for me. I came off V&H staggered drags (killed my ears and my neighbors).

The Supermeg does max performance - I have tweaked cylinders, heads, cam, carb and now, the exhaust.

It is a little too quiet at idle, sounds great (deep) on acceleration and maybe just a little quiet at cruising at highway speeds.

Looks, I can get past the traditional aspect, It started out as a drag bike in 97 in Houston built by Dunc's Hawg shop in Angleton (he had the land speed record at one time). For me, it has always been about performance. Tuners would tell me my horsepower goal was there if I would "just put a good 2 into 1 on there".

Well, I don't have to ride it hard to get it to perform now. I have 11.5 inch shocks so the large pipe fills the void and follows the line of the swingarm a little better. I have hung a bunch of chrome on her and she is more responsive and smoother than ever.

IMO, they would be the best! Not cheap by any means, but fully tunable for sound and back pressure. Supertrapp has been the king of exhausts going back to the 70's at least.

Yeah, except for thee pfffft sound with a closed end cap. In my opinion they need an open end cap to sound right...
