Wondering if anybody has a wiring diagram for an 07 wideglide's handlebar wiring. I'm simply doing a swap out to drag bars. Any help would be sweet. Thanks
There is a wiring diagram in the service manual, but you shouldn't really need it. You can most likely do it without cutting any wires. There are two connectors up inside the neck of the frame that you will need to pull out and dissasemble. Either take pictures of them, or draw a diagram to use when you put them back together. If you search this forum for molex connector you should find the how to on dissasembling the connectors.
Also unbolting the tank and sliding it back a little will make it easier to get to the wiring inside the neck.
my bikes tin free at the moment cause I'm in the process of spraying it and I have the harness unhooked from the frame ( bars off bike but still attached to brakeline and clutch) but like you said i'll try searching molex conectors cause im just not sure how to pull the wires apart from the plugs themselves. Thanks
One tip on this though, when he pulls the center pieces out at about the 2 minute mark. I don't pull it all the way it. Just pull it enough so that it pops up maybe 1/4 inch. At that point uses a safety pin and insert it into the little hole above each prong and the will come right out.

I used the video above and it worked out fine for me. Patience is the key. There is a cover under the frame between the heads that you can access the wires. Makes it easier to pull the wires back when you are done. Just prop the tank up alittle.Good luck.
