Awesome, awesome and more awesome (and I might add, I like the overall look of the bike too). However, huge price alert Batman! If they weren't ~$400 I'd have bought them 4 minutes ago. For that price, you have to really, really want floorboards. I want them, but not that badly. I guess I'll have to deal with pegs+stirrups.

I'd buy a set 4 minutes from now, price notwithstanding, IF I could be assured that the problem with getting your toe under the shifter was resolved. I wear a size 14 boot.

Yeah, I know but I've used the toe shifter for a lifetime and I have no interest in training myself to use the heel portion. And I'm no welder or fabricator-just want to bolt it on and rock.

Can anybody update me on this problem I read about on these pages about the Wyatt kit? I have an '11 FXDC and I'd love to have a set of these.

Honestly man, even after I bought my bike I used it like the traditional shifter for a while and a guy told me "try it for a week and see how you like it" and I tell you, I will not go back to traditional shifting if I don't have to. The heel toe is amazing.

Romeo, is that a heel toe on there?

There have been several complaints from "taller" riders about the Wyatt boards. Seems like they are mounted quite high on the bike.

All you have to do is just not put on the one-piece heel-and-toe shifter ... reuse the stock shift lever ... it goes on a splined shaft, so it can be rotated a few degrees should it be necessary ....

I had the same HD police floor board kit on mine they are too high and had to take them off and wasted $450.00 , i ended up with mini floor boards that just bolt up to the mid peg frame hardware that's all you need and they do the job and are comfortable , the Dyna frame is lousy for that kind of floorboard setup , just buy the Road King anyway and get it over with if your looking for that style bike and the floor boards will be comfortable too !

Is there REALLY no way to mount them lower?

Yes. I didn't care for it at first, but once I adjusted it so that the heel shift stroke was completed with the top of the peg flush with the floorboard, I started using it and never looked back.

If you prefer just the toe shifter, you could leave the heel peg off and reposition the shifter on the spline and adjust the linkage appropriately, or use the stock H-D toe shifter with a spacer (the heel/toe shifter is wider at the spline).

BTW, I find the boards quite comfortable. No issues with the height of the boards. It's about the same as an old stock flathead or knucklehead, and a lot of guys put a lot of miles on those without crying about it.

Hey Dynaglide68, what kind of mini floorboards did you use? Any problem with scraping, or did vibration increase?

Any chance you could post a pic?
