Noticed today that the front brake will not light up the brake lights on my 2009 streetbob. took the front brake lever off and pressed on the swich....for a while it would throw a quick small flash and then it stopped doing that..... took the harness apart to gain access to the terminals for the brake switch....threw multimeter on and set to continuity....no change.....

sounds like i have to swap out the brake switch then?? nAnybody else have this issue??

 

swapped in new front brake light switch....all ok now

 

Good to see bikes haven't changed much in the last 30 some odd years. That used to be the first thing that stopped working on every bike I owned back then.
