Fat Bob Foot control question

I have searched through threads, but haven't been able to find a clear answer to my question, so forgive me if I've overlooked it somewhere. I have a 2011 fat bob and have found someone local with a 2006 street bob willing to trade foot controls with me. Question is, will it work? Is everything interchangeable? Thanks for your input.

They should, but if you have true forward controls, nothing out through your primary, then you will have to do some serious work. Your outer and inner primary will have to come off for the trade.

Thanks Dustdevil. I knew they're would be major work involved, but that's why I was trying to find a trade. I know just to buy the new inner and outer it was looking like 700-800 clams. Thanks again for the quick response.
