I'm getting these pipes installed on my Rocker tomorrow. Can't wait to hear them and glad I don't live in Canada.

I feel your pain. I think I would cry if I had to change my pipes out to the stock pipes!

the decible meter at the HD dealer read 100db at idle- I had no idea they were that loud..love em though!
Canada still has a lot of good things going for it, sad to see the political strife and recession down south- Hope things improve- I served with a lot of USAF in the 60's--Good, Brave people!

Man that sucks pretty bad. Supertrapps make good power pretty quietly and have some grunt when you get on em. My buddy has a set on his Vic and they sound pretty good, Nothing like my crossbacks tho.

I have a Supertrapp pipe on my bike, with the disks in and the closed end cap it is not too loud at all. Most of the time I run fewer disks with the open end cap and it is plenty loud. I figure if I ever get a ticket for noise (which is not likely where I live) then I can just through a couple of disks and the closed end cap back on again.

Here in our town, the local City decided to inact a City Ordanance that states any modified exhuast that makes the vehicle louder is not acceptable, irregardless of the 50 state legal. If it is not installed at the factory, or can be, it is not legal in town. So stock or SE exhuast is ok, nothing else. A buddy had some VH with the quite baffels and was given ticket for modified exhaust. I asked an Officer the other day to clarify the rule to me. He said, to him as long as you are not trying to get my attention or it is so loud at a stop light that I am annoyed, you would be ok. Well to him this is how he feels, but to a particular officer he believes differently and this makes alot of guys really dislike him. So anyways, good luck and hopefully we can vote out the council member who started this law, he dislikes the rebels who ride Harleys.......

You can download a free sound meter app for most smartphones to give you a dB reading, my custom pipes I built run 86dB at idle which was a couple dB quieter than my Big Radius 2-2's. I could easily pull my baffle and put a little wrap on it to lower it more.. Anxious to hear what my newest build sound like, hopefully this weekend.

Never heard of T-City where you are from. It doesn't happen to stand for Tri-Cities, where I'm from, does it?

I just switched over to BCT QQ baffles for big radius and let me tell you they got rid of the raspy sound, got rid of most of the popping, and changed the tone a little but did not significantly lower the dbs. Even if you add a second baffle and wrap the originals with fiberglass its not going to be quiet just quieter
