I've had this experience and it came from too much oil in the primary. If there is too much oil it gets between the clutch plates and causes a drag. Checking the level of the primary fluid is rather easy, I would do this first.
This is a good idea......... The stealers mush have plenty of extra oil. They overfilled all 3 of my bikes holes at the 1k service.
Hey L; I was leaning towards that. Another possibility is that dino oil supposed to be 20w50 is actually much thicker. I have a manual and spotted some valvoline 20w50 designated for wet clutch. Will drain dino and replace.

Stubby, I would lean towards 10w40........... You are probably better off putting HD's regular Primary oil in for the clutch....(not Syn3).
It is good enough stuff, and they can't give you any ****, about using the wrong fluids if there is a dispute.
I agree with Doug. Use the HD Primary oil. It will be easier when working with the service folks. Also, the HD primary oil works well. While you are at it, see if all the fluids are at the proper level.
Buy a manual and Adjust the clutch youself. Engine should be cold. Also try synthetic 20w-50 in the primary, it flows better at low temps. I use Mobil 1 V-Twin. Even though it has a little moly in it, my clutch has not slipped any.
