After a lot of searching I landed with a set of bridgestone excedra max.
110/90-19 for the front, it fills up fender better and works better for me.
170/60-17 for rear its a radial and doesnt have some goofy flame tread pattern or swirls or crap. They are inexpensive and think they are a great alternative to the usual. They handle far better than the dunlops i only have 500 miles on them so not sure about durability.
Great tires! I'm running the exedra 850 Bridgestone...180/55/18 on the rear of my bike. I get about 5000 miles out of them but only paying about 130.00 shipped per tire when I need a new one. I've run the metzlers, dunlops, avons and the bridgestone is as good or better than any of them. The only tire that gave a little better milage was the dunlop with about 7000 miles. I run a 110/90/19 on the front and get about 10.000 miles out of any brand front that I have had on the front.
