Default Solid Mounting a twin cam

anyone ever tried or have any opinions on solid mounting a twin cam a engine in a dyna wide glide?? is so how'd it work? Good idea or no go??

I loved my '99 XL1200S, it was a fast, good handling bike. But the vvvvvibbbbrattttions wore me out. I would think a solid mounted Twin Cam would be much wwwworsssse....

Would the fact that the swingarm Is mounted to the gearbox and not the frame make it a no go?

so with the swing arm being mounted to the gear box and the engine not being counter balanced it could cause major problems??? <this info is all for my husband , he asked me to research for him and i am clueless lol> thanks for the input all!!

the dyna shakes pretty hard at idle, the exhaust bracket on my Bub 7 pipes just recently cracked in half. Its about a 1" dia. pipe.

ok thank u for the input!! the pipes on our bike are mounted to the motor and are really short so he says that shouldnt be a problem...

Yes, they have tried solid mounting a twin cam in a wide glide. It's called the Softail Custom.

Don't get it? Am I missing something? Softail customs have counter balanced engine.
