Since my last bike was a dyna (one before that was a RKC), and I haven't gotten any response in the Touring section (not many forward controls on baggers out there) - figured I'd take a shot here real quick. Getting a 2012 Street Glide and plan to toss on forward controls. My intention is to use the Avon Air Cushioned Anodized grips and pegs all the way around.
Does anyone have those pegs? In particular - looking for someone who's using the brake peg. My understanding is, it's identical to the shifter peg. I'm used to having a decent size square for the brake. Just wondering if anyone has that peg as the brake & if it's ok - or, as I suspect - you'll slip off it.
If it's no good - I may just get the HD Diamond Black peg instead for the brake; I think it'll match the Avon set fine enough.
